HOW CAN WE REDEFINE OBJECTS?

Personalized Measuring Tape

Last week, we were able to have the opportunity to have a guest artist demonstarte her artistry discipline. After her presentation, we were able to redefine what a measuring tape could be by having specific measurements that are personalized to our body features. For example, my meausring tape included the length of my fingers, shoe size, and waist size.

20 Second Animation Video

This week, the assingment for Tech in Action was to create a 20 second animated scene that incorporated music from Abelton Live. After being partly inspired by Jim Hensons stop motion video, I wanted to create a series of images that contain dancing colors. The video starts off with the stick figure coming out of its screen, and while it takes its few steps begins to introduce the idea of color. Once the stick figure jumps, a world of color comes to life, as line start introducing themselves, battling each other to represent themselves. Towards the end of the video, there is a reminder to breath in order to stay focused and calm.
